Built here, for here.
Most security tools are designed for a generic global user, then translated. That doesn’t work, because the risks aren’t the same. A phishing text that names your bank, a SIM swap that empties a mobile wallet, a leaked BVN. Those aren’t edge cases here. They’re the main event, and almost nothing is built around them. I started Tirenify in March 2026 to fix that, starting with the most basic question a person can ask about their own security: is my email already out there.
Mission
Make digital security understandable and usable for everyone online in Africa.
Principles
- We reveal risk, we never create it
- Clear next steps over scary headlines
- Honest about what we can and can’t do
- Privacy by default

Founder, Tirenify
I'm Daniel Adeleye, the founder of Tirenify.
In 2021, both my parents were caught in a major online fraud scheme. Plans had been made for our whole family around what they expected from it, and none of them could happen. My parents were the victims, but it hurt me too, maybe even more than it hurt them. There was nothing I could do, and the dreams I had, built on the places my parents could have taken me and my siblings, could no longer come true.
I started Tirenify so more people can see risk early and know what to do about it, before it costs them something they can't get back.
