How it works
Simple on the surface. Careful underneath.
- You enter your email. No password, no account.
- We check it against known data breaches. The check runs against breaches that have been publicly reported.
- You see which breaches include it. The checker lists the matching breach records.
- You get steps to fix it. An ordered list, so you know what to change first.
What happens to your email
We don’t store the address you check. If you separately choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we keep that address so we can send it to you.
Where the data comes from
Results come from known, publicly reported data breaches.
What a result means
“Exposed” means your address appeared in a known breach, not that your account was hacked. “Safe” means no known breach contains your address, not a guarantee that you’re secure.
Find out what’s exposed. Check your email with Breach Guard.
